Resilience & Performance for Yacht Crew
Excellence in yachting goes beyond technical ability. It’s shaped by how you perform under pressure, how you lead, and how you sustain that performance over time.
Life onboard is demanding — long hours, high expectations, and little separation between work and rest. Over a season, that pressure accumulates. Without the right support, it can impact decision-making, team dynamics, and overall well-being.
I work with yacht crew to strengthen resilience, sharpen performance, and support the people behind the roles — so you can meet the demands of the industry without compromising yourself in the process.
Sustained Performance at Sea
In an environment where consistency matters as much as excellence, resilience becomes a professional advantage.
My work supports crew to:
Stay composed under pressure – think clearly and act decisively in high-stakes situations
Enhance crew dynamics – build stronger communication, trust, and cohesion onboard
Maintain energy and focus – avoid burnout and sustain performance across demanding seasons
Lead with credibility – support senior crew in managing teams, expectations, and complex relationships with confidence
Designed for the Reality of Yacht Life
Yachting is a global, fast-moving environment. Support needs to be practical, flexible, and relevant.
I offer onboard workshops and one-to-one coaching tailored to the rhythm of your schedule — whether alongside, mid-season, or during refit periods.
Professional performance starts with personal resilience.

Resilience at Sea: Performing Under Pressure
These practical, onboard workshops are designed specifically for the realities of yacht life — high pressure, long hours, and close team dynamics.
The focus is simple: give crew effective, usable tools they can apply immediately during the season to stay steady, perform well, and work better together.
This is not therapy-based training. It’s a structured, practical session that helps crew understand how pressure impacts performance — and what to do about it.
Workshops cover:
Personal resilience – understanding stress, managing pressure, and maintaining energy over a full season
Well-being onboard – recognising early signs of fatigue and burnout, with simple strategies to stay on track
Team resilience – improving communication, building trust, and reducing friction in close working environments
Handling pressure and conflict – practical ways to reset quickly, manage tension, and avoid escalation
Crew culture – creating shared standards that support a more cohesive and professional onboard environment
Each session is interactive, relevant, and tailored to your crew and operational schedule.
The outcome: a crew that stays focused, communicates effectively, and performs consistently — throughout the season.
1 : 2 : 1 Professional Coaching
Confidential support for senior crew and leaders
Leading onboard comes with a different level of responsibility. Beyond operational performance, you’re managing people, expectations, and complex relationships—often under constant pressure, with little space to step back and think clearly.
These one-to-one coaching sessions are designed for captains, heads of departments, chief engineers, and senior shoreside personnel who want a focused, confidential space to strengthen how they lead and operate.
Coaching is practical, tailored, and grounded in the realities of the yachting industry.
Sessions can support you to:
Strengthen leadership capability – lead with clarity, consistency, and confidence
Manage people effectively – handle performance, difficult conversations, and team dynamics
Navigate stakeholder relationships – build trust and manage expectations with owners, representatives, and management companies
Maintain personal resilience – manage pressure, protect your energy, and avoid burnout in demanding roles
Think strategically about your career – prepare for progression, transitions, or life beyond your current role
This is a professional, results-focused space to step out of the day-to-day, gain perspective, and make considered decisions.
Because strong leadership onboard doesn’t happen by chance—it’s developed.
About me
I founded Yacht Crew Resilience to support yacht crew and senior leaders in building the resilience, confidence, and self-awareness needed to perform at their best in high-pressure environments.
With over 20 years’ experience in senior leadership roles within a global organisation, I understand first-hand what it takes to operate in fast-paced, demanding settings where expectations are high and there is little margin for error. I have worked across complex, international environments, supporting individuals and teams to stay focused, adaptable, and effective under pressure.
I also recognise that the yachting industry brings its own unique challenges — from long seasons and high guest expectations to the reality of living and working in close quarters. It requires a specific and often underestimated form of resilience.
I am an accredited coach and an International Coaching Federation Professional Certified Coach (PCC), working with clients since 2016 across a range of sectors, including the yachting industry. I am also a qualified Mental Health First Aider, which is particularly relevant in an environment where sustained pressure and limited personal space can impact wellbeing.
Having lived in Mallorca for over 10 years and worked closely with yacht crew throughout that time, I have developed a strong understanding of life onboard — the intensity, the interpersonal dynamics, and the constant expectation to deliver.
Yacht Crew Resilience was created to offer something different: practical, relevant coaching and training designed specifically for this world.
My aim is simple—to help crew not just cope, but to perform, lead, and thrive under pressure.
